Working at RIO means being part of a team that plans, organizes, and delivers events from concept to completion. We handle the entire event process—from planning and coordination to on-site operations—and provide professional teams to bring each event to life.
We deliver events, conferences, and experiences in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, and each assignment is part of a larger production. Whether you work with guest services, backstage, logistics, or operations, you contribute directly to the success of the entire event.

Salary and conditions
When you work at RIO, you receive a fixed hourly wage based on your experience, role, and the nature of the assignment. Salary, vacation pay, and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
Salaries are paid monthly in arrears, with payment on the 25th of each month. You will always receive a clear payslip in advance. We prioritize transparency, accuracy, and predictability so that you can focus on your work.
Types of assignments
As part of RIO's events team, your responsibilities may include:
Guest services, host/hostess & reception
Food & beverages (serving, bar, kitchen)
Washing up, tidying up & cleaning
Technology & media (DJ, photography, film)
Assembly & backstage
You don't need to know everything – we match assignments based on your experience, skills, and personality, while ensuring that you receive support within a structured event organization.
Who is a good fit for RIO?
You do not need to have previous experience of events, but we are looking for someone who:
Is responsible and punctual
Enjoys working with people and collaborates well
Can handle pace and changes
Understand the importance of professionalism, service, and integrity.
Experience is valuable, but the right attitude and willingness to take responsibility within a larger event organization are equally important.
